Redbourn Scout Group

Hi All,

Welcome to the Scout section of the Redbourn Scout Group. As time progresses this page will be populated with a program of events occurring over the year.
We will also put useful links to things that are going on with in Redbourn scouts and scouting in general.

As you will no doubt be aware, the scout movement is celebrating it's 100th Birthday this year (2007). There will be a lot of activities going on through out the year within Redbourn scouts, St Albans district, Herts County and UK. Redbourn will hopefully be participating with many of these activities.

If you have any suggestions, for the Website or Redbourn scouts in general, please see one of the leaders or committee members.

Plans for 2007

• We will be planning to do more weekend camps (low cost, where the scouts get to look after themselves)
• Redborn will be entering a team into the Sandridge chariot race
• Air rifle competition
• Night hikes
• Kip-on-a-ship, this will co inside with the national scouting sunrise event, where all the scouts in the UK will renew their promise at 8am
• plus lots, lots more.

A full diary and plan will be distributed shortly to all scouts.
